It's been three years since the PCFF came out with the idea to create a T.V. drama series which will promote the Reconciliation process between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Now days the T.V. drama, "Good Intentions", is being photographed and will be broadcast during the current year (2008).
Thanks to a generous donation from the U.S.A.I.D. and inspired by the American drama series "Roots" the PCFF approached the Reshet T.V. company and a long process was begun. Finding the right story that will speak to Israelis and Palestinians from a wide political range wasn't an easy task. An Israeli screenplay writer, Ronit Weiss-Berkowitz, was chosen as the head writer. Weiss – Berkowitz chose to tell the story of two women, chefs, who are taking part in an Israeli Palestinian cookery show.
On the 6th of December 2007 the whole team of "Good Intentions", from the script girl to the Director, came to meet PCFF members. In an unforgettable meeting PCFF members told their personal stories followed by a moving discussion. We at the PCFF felt that it's important to let the T.V. drama participants understand what stands behind the series, behind the word Reconciliation and what we would like to start and change with their help.
Parallel to the making of the drama series, a behind the scenes documentary film is being made by the Israeli film Director, who is also a PCFF member, Ayelet Bargur.
"All Consuming" is directed by Uri Barabash. Cast: Orna Pitussi, Clara Khoury, Tzahi Grad, Jabarin Shredy, Naomi Promovich.
