So often, the pain and suffering caused by violence leads to more violence. Nowhere is this more true than in Israel and the Palestinian Territories -- where thousands have been injured, and thousands more killed.
For both Israeli Robi Damelin and Palestinian Ali Abu Awwad, an understanding of the other side of the conflict came at a cost: the death of a loved one. They are both members of the Parents Circle Forum, an organization that promotes peace between Christians, Jews and Muslims in the Middle East. Now, for the first time, they've traveled to Canada, where they're speaking about what happened to their families, and how they overcame a history of hatred.
