The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), Swiss Section, selected the Parents Circle - Families Forum to receive the Human Rights Award 2010.

International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), Swiss Section, is a branch of Internationale Gesellschaft für Menschenrechte (IGFM) based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. ISHR is an international non-profit organization, independent of all political parties, governments or religious groups.

The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), Swiss Section, has been established in 1983 as a non-governmental and non-profit organization that provides assistance and support to victims of political, religious or racist persecution. It also conducts awareness campaigns among the Swiss population in order to inform individuals and people who are subject to constraints of freedom.

Since 1994 each year, ISHR, Swiss Section, nominate one person or one organization to receive their Human Rights Award. They, therefore aim to reward, encourage and support action that promotes peace and human security. Among the winners of the past years appear His Holiness Dalai Lama, Almir Surui Narayamoga, David Kilgour and David Matas for their fight against organ trade. For further information about our organization, please visit their website: www.igfm.ch.

The ceremony of the Award will take place on November 27, 2010 in Switzerland.

Khaled bu Awwad and Aaron Barnea would be honored to attend the ceremony, on behalf of the Parents Circle - Families Forum.
